Updated over 11 years ago.
Description
Implement a crossplatform KDE-independent crash handler. Basically, at least make a full replacement for AnHero without dependencies on KDE.

For windows there is no problem. I can use for this google breakpad. But for linux it works not good. I will observer for this project and sometimes test it.
It's ok to have a separate plugin on Windows and a separate one on Linux. I suggest implementing Breakpad-based backend for Windows, for example.
Especially since things are hard on Windows with debugging, and LC is much more unstable there, it's even a task of higher priority than *NIX-backend.
google breakpad saves dump-files. We can create a nice window as in KDE with "Send to developers" button. And send these dumps to somewhere. May be it will be your server or we can send to DJm00n directly?
The server variant seems like a better one.
Я настаиваю, тем более, что у тебя есть опыт с breakpad.
Там опыт не нужен. Добавить один хидер и 4 строки в main. Сможет любой, плюс в прошлый раз под линем он работал как говно.
