Stream disconnect after pause/play

Description
If a stream is paused for about a minute (½>X>1) and if play button is pressed stream playback will be ended in some seconds.
Expected result:
No disconnects.
Actual result:
Disconnects.

Streams aren't expected to be paused. I can ignore pausing at all or make pressing Pause button to actually stop the radio.
Paused stream should be downloaded but not played. Ignoring is a crappy solution, stop seems to be better but not ideal.
Streams aren't downloaded anywhere, they are just buffered (and that's why you get a few seconds of playback after continuing — that's the buffered data).
Infinite buffer sounds like a crappy solution.
I would say listening to the current stream of radio instead of buffered some long time ago is much more expected behavior.
