Bug #709
closedGmail Notifier tries to login with unset password
Start date:

Description
By default, the Gmail Notifier has empty username and password fields.
Upon launching LC it tries to check GMail using those empty credentials, and obviously fails. This results in an error notification bubble appearing, which confuses the user.
Gmail Notifier should ask for user credentials when they are unknown instead of trying to use the empty ones and causing an error notification (which, additionally, provides no clues about how to resolve the error; i.e. how to get to the Notifier settings).

Error notification is now shown only once, and it explicitly states that the username can be entered in the settings.
